Quellenhof lazise – a unique holiday paradise – opened its doors in 2019. This 5-star luxury hotel is located directly at Lake Garda on the south-east shore in Lazise, among olive groves and vineyards, high above the medieval village. The Dorfer family, who also manage the Quellenhof Luxury Resort Passeier in South Tyrol, have incorporated all their experience and expertise into this new holiday destination.
The underlying idea was to create a place where people would feel at home. This idea has been successfully realised. The Quellenhof offers its guests an unforgettable experience – and that includes the culinary aspect as well. The kitchen team headed by Chef Michael Mayr transforms fresh ingredients into refined dishes. The herbs grown in the hotel garden are used as a special ingredient and lend the dishes an aromatic flavour. The fine wines from the Quellenhof’s own wine cellar perfectly complement the exquisite meals.
A short stroll through the village of Lazise will bring you to our lakeside park, where you can relax by the lake and enjoy a wonderful view. Our lakeside wellness area also offers you the perfect opportunity to unwind and recharge your batteries. You can choose between several saunas, cosy quiet areas and pools. The highlight is the Sky Pool, which boasts a stunning view of Lake Garda and Lazise.
Founded in 1897, the hotel is rich in tradition and is still managed by the Dorfer family today. Originally, the building was only an inn, with a simple dining room and a beer garden. Gradually, it became a meeting point for locals and visitors from far and wide, who enjoyed the speciality: blue trout freshly caught from the crystal-clear Passirio/Passer river and prepared by Grandma Resi. The popularity of the inn grew rapidly and soon it attracted people from all over Italy, Austria and Switzerland.
After the death of Rudolf Dorfer in 1959, his wife Luise took over the Quellenhof and with determination and a great deal of drive pushed it forward. She worked relentlessly to make the inn a success, and was an important pioneer of the tourism industry in South Tyrol.
The Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise is the ideal starting point for relaxed walks along Lake Garda and exploring the picturesque towns and villages in the area. The famous theme parks Gardaland and Lake Garda Theme Park are also within easy reach, and it’s only a 30-minute drive to Verona.
