The GreenSmart Basic (GSB) model conserves fuel by automatically lighting the fireplace when heat is called for, and turning it off when no heat is needed. It comes standard with a wall switch and is available with an optional remote control that turns the fireplace on and off as well as controlling the thermostat.

Each fireplace in the line is equipped with a standard wall switch or an optional thermostat remote as well as quiet twin fans that can be operated independently from the flame and even switched off completely! An optional CoolSmart Wall is available on all models to redirect the convective heat from the front of the unit, just above the glass, to a location higher on the wall.
